We all know that Nawabshah Airport is alternate Airport of the Karachi, Its run way is so huge that all wide body aircrafts can land easily. More over due weather conditions, usually all wide body aircrafts are diverted to Nawabshah & landed there easily.
Nawabshah is in the Center of Sindh, hence to Reduce huge passenger traffic from JIAP Karachi, which was designed with limited flights & international Arrival hall is hatch patch today, having just 03 conveyer belts & very close, & other commercial activities around & could not be expanded particularly even when 04 Flights are landed in same time. Passengers Rush, trolly space, CAA counters, City Govt. Counters etc give bad shape beside other technical difficulties.
Due alarming & critical Situation of Karachi City, crime rate out side airport, where most villagers arriving from abroad are deprived from money & luggage, than why? we can't think Nawabshah our futures New International Airport while not only Geographically but from all aspects it's feasible to operate.
This will ease out to upload/offload passenger/cargo traffic load, & financially PIA other airlines if operates internationally can earn more. This area is also feasible for industry.
The Nawabshah airport, shut down six years back, reopened again for civilian flights. The history of Nawabshah airport dates back to 1918 whereas its terminal building was built in 1992. Airport is spread of 775 acres. In 1987, it was declared as substitute for Karachi International Airport. Its runway was increased to 11,000-feet. All aircrafts ... Read Moreincluding jumbo could make landing at this airport. It was used in the wars of 1965 and 1971. The other specialty of this airport is the facility or refueling and all panes can make emergency landing for refueling. The departure lounge of the airport has the capacity for over 100 people.
Initially, airport will have the facility of two flights in a week. These flights will be available on Friday and Tuesday. Friday flight will go to Lahore via Islamabad and then return directly from Lahore to Nawabshah. Later Shah Iran, Dubai's ruler Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid Al-Maktoom, General Zia-ul-Haq, President Pervez Musharraf, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and other local and foreign dignitaries have visited this airport.

(a) Space can be expanded to reach at mark-up or when to decide New international airport at Nawabshah, existing status was just for the information about the existing postion, not future.
(b) Beyod understand, why even so called educate & neutral people became pre-judice while some one talks about sindh & its promotion, please clean your mind contrary we can't develop.
(c) Its clearily said that its Centre of Sindh, means a major people of sindh could plan their traveling through JIAP, while a minimum number of Karachi people are traveling.
(d) Karachi City & industry situation is not hidden by any body, even port is being shifted to Gawadar, future courts to Malir & out of City.
(e) We can plan new & safe City for Industry other purpose & Nawabshah environment is the better.
(f) To facilitate 10% people of Sindh you can't deprive 90% people of sindh for easy travel while we have been using this airport technically, even its the best area from security other aspects which previous history of Nawabshah is shown. Its Not due To President Zardari or else. Please release pre-judice mask from your eyes & avoid thinking against Sindh & sindhi people & its fundamental rights & facilities.
(g) Letus be true Pakistani, Quid E Azm thought about, fedration will be strong when all provinces are strong & equally facilited in all walk of lifes & services & Jobs & promotions & postings etc.
(h) Pakistan is not for elite & beurucratic class only; but poor 90% villagers also have life & living in the country without any facilities & at mark-up positions, Let us think for those poor who are also traveling on Aircrafts for JOBs, education, Hajj Umra & abroad ex- Sindh.
(i) RIZ kindly don't be emotional, it was just a presentation & suggestion for betterment of people not of Your class.
